The Fontsmith Letter Lab where we produce a working font from letters designed by festival attendees.
People are invited to draw a letter and the best characters will be used in a final typeface, which will be emailed directly to participants after the event. We provide loads of different implements from brush pens to really fat markers etc and have designers on hand to demo different ideas. We’d put the alphabet up on the wall so people can see the font coming together.
